The operator is a practising consultant surgeon in General and Digestive Surgery. This site is operated in a personal capacity and not on behalf of any hospital, university or professional society.

The same operator publishes SurgicalBoardsQA, a separate question bank covering surgical oncology board examinations. The two sites share an operator, a privacy policy in substance and a clinical author, but hold separate accounts, separate databases and separate subscriptions. A subscription to one does not give access to the other.

This is independent revision material. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or connected to any examining body, college, council or authority named anywhere on this site. Names of examinations and organising bodies are used descriptively, to identify the examination a candidate is preparing for.

No question published here reproduces, paraphrases or reconstructs an item from any past or current examination paper. Every clinical vignette is written from scratch.

All questions, explanations, blueprints commentary and site content are the property of the operator and protected by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 and applicable international copyright law. Access to the material does not transfer any right in it.

Spanish law governs this notice. Disputes fall to the courts of Madrid, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection that gives a consumer the right to bring proceedings in their own country of residence.
